Château Combo is a tableau-building game whose simplicity is matched only by its depth, offering incredibly satisfying gameplay. Each turn, you simply recruit one character and add them to your tableau, but this simple action involves a surprising number of important decisions:
- Manage your Keys to influence the Messenger token at the right moments, as it determines which characters are available to recruit.
- Manage your Gold carefully so you can afford the characters you want throughout the game.
- Choose your characters wisely to optimize both the effect they trigger when recruited and the points they will earn you at the end of the game.
- Finally, place your characters strategically in your 3×3 tableau to get the most out of their abilities and scoring potential.
